I overworked my blender trying to make cheesecake yesterday and the machine began to smoke. Realizing that a food processor is the better for the job, I went out and bought one. Other than using it for solid food, would it do the job if I want to make the occasional shake or smoothie?

I have bought and used various juicers, but they cannot effectively get all the juice from the seeds. I’m wondering if anyone can refer to me a heavy duty and commericial juicer which should be able to do this…Thanks
Can anyone recommend the best food processor? I have bought cheap ones in the past but they have never lasted more than a few months. I would like one that will last me a few years.

i am planning to make a choco peanut butter cupts as my gift for my friends but it requires me to use food processor and i don’t have it, i have hand mixer. I don’t want to spend something for a food processor now as i am trying to save money plus i won’t be using it often. The epanut butter would serve as my base so it needs to be a little sandy. Is it possible for me to use hand mixer for this instead of food processor?
