My kitchenaid mixer came with a metal plate around the beater shaft, it is preventing me from attaching the icecream maker attachment. Does anyone know how to get it off?
I recently got a Kitchenaid Classic Plus stand mixer (It is the cheapest one out on the market and is only available in white). I am happy with it so far, but I am wondering how this particular model will last in the long run. Does the wattage really make that much of a difference? Will my model last as long or as well as the more expensive or premium models?
what is considered a reliable washer/dryer? I had great luck with kitchenaid, has kitchenaid been bought out by whirlpool. Some friends has told me that. Is it true?
Cheap one (economical, affordable) & smaller sized for 1 person only.
Would just a regular blender work? Is the Magic Bullet any good? Is there a cheaper equivalent to the M.B.?

I don’t have a nut chopper. I could do it by hand on the cutting board but I have been wondering if one of the above machines would work well for that purpose.
I want to buy an ice cream maker/freezer. I have a KitchenAid mixer, but I wonder if the motor won’t get warm or worn out on the long freezing cycle? Anyone have any experience with this?
