When my mother got married in the early 80s, she received an Oster machine that had interchangeable parts for a blender and food processor, and when you put a contraption on the top, it also was a food mixer. I’ve looked in stores and on the internet (including the Oster website) and I can’t find anything like this; there are only blender/food processors or mixers.

The model that I have is the one with the following setting only: pulse, high, low and ice crush. Not the latest models with the touch pad controls.

Cheap one (economical, affordable) & smaller sized for 1 person only.
Would just a regular blender work? Is the Magic Bullet any good? Is there a cheaper equivalent to the M.B.?
Thanks.

I don’t have a nut chopper. I could do it by hand on the cutting board but I have been wondering if one of the above machines would work well for that purpose.
Thanks for any suggestions.

What are the pro’s and con’s to the two? Also what is better a hand mixer or a stand mixer? I am registering for my wedding. Do I need a food processer, and a blender? Do I need a hand mixer and a stand mixer? Thanks.
Our kitchen might not be huge when we get married, which of these would I need more than the others?
